They want to have fun and just play!
Unfortunately, as adults, we move away from our creative, spunky, and joyful imaginations because we’re too busy adulting. Our clients end up in a cycle of putting others before themselves and don’t realize it until they are too burnt out. They stop believing in themselves and start doubting who they are or what they want. Our job is to help pump you up!
We want to help you find the root of the problem, believe in yourself, and then shine!

I’ve been told my whole life that I was “too much.”
“You’re too loud, too energetic, too aggressive, too blunt” … blah, blah, blah. The list could go on and on.
Through a lot of self-love, I turned those negative connotated statements into, “Damn right, I’m loud, energetic, aggressive, and blunt.” I wouldn’t be me without those things.
Anger is pretty much second-nature. You know what’s hard? Sadness and crying. I’m soooo bad at it. Emotions are icky and I’d rather ignore them and pretend they don’t exist.
Except they DO and I have a wonderful therapist who ignored my pushiness and made me sit with them anyways. Being able to express myself and learn how to take my mask off and just be me, is what helps me as a therapist.
I like to bring a very authentic me into the room. I’m going to make faces and talk to you like a friend, but I’m also going to push you when you’re ready and help you strive to accept yourself too! You deserve to find yourself and raise your bar.
It’s going to be uncomfortable and hard, but SO worth it!
In the first session, we do the normal boring intake where we ask questions, and you tell us about yourself. After that, we dive in and get comfy! We start to analyze your feelings and the roots of where they come from. We’re learning who you are and how that leads you in your life and decisions.
We will walk through the process by:
- Talking
- Drawing
- Painting
- Throwing things
- Journaling
- Movement
- AND maybe other ways that are spur-of-the-moment trials.
Sometimes, we just need to shake it out!
And sometimes, we need to talk to a younger version of ourself to figure out why these feelings are here. We want to honor the different parts of you even if it’s uncomfortable. This takes a lot of trust, between us, but also within yourself.
